OUT Country Singer/Songwriter Ty Herndon shares about his journey & new music
Welcome to Kelli and Anne's 63rd episode of #ilovemywife
Their Special Guest today is OUT Country Music Singer/Songwriter Ty Herndon. They recorded this remote podcast while Anne and Ty were performing together a couple of months ago on an RSVP Cruise.
Before Ty’s interview they played one of Ty’s songs called “What Mattered Most” and it was Ty’s first #1 hit. He re-recorded it for his new album “Got It Covered” that comes out this summer. He changed the pronouns in this version to reflect his truer self and they absolutely LOVE it. Look for that to come out soon!
During the interview hear all about how Ty got started in the music business, how his career in Country music took off and grew so quickly and what it was like when he officially came OUT in 2014.
He created the Concert For Love and Acceptance, designed to bring attention and support to at-risk youth and acceptance. It's now an annual event in Nashville and this year its on June 6th, 2019 at The Wild Horse Saloon.
