Their special guest is Victoria James, who at the age of 21 became the youngest sommelier in the country. Known as a “wine wunderkind,” she is a leading female voice in a male-dominated field. Victoria worked her way up, through some of the most prestigious restaurants in New York City and is now the Director of Beverage and partner at Michelin-starred Cote in New York and Miami.  Plus she is the author of Wine Girl, The Obstacles, Humiliations, and Triumphs of America’s Youngest Sommelier. She talks about her book and reads an excerpt as well. She also discusses her non-profit Wine Empowered that diversifies the hospitality industry by offering tuition-free wine classes to women and people of color.
